Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program
Here are some photographs with explanations of my trip to Japan with the Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program. I will only load approximately 5 pictures to a page. Please click on the link to the next set of photos.

This is the school transportation! There are no school buses in Japan.

This is a first grade physical education class at the Kagato Elementary School in Bizen, Japan. The physical education teacher is also their music, art, etc., and classroom teacher. In other words, she does it all! Students in most Japanese schools wear uniforms. These students have red and white hats because it represents what team they are on in the class. These students are getting ready for the school field day. These first grade students are doing their warm-ups. The teacher is not in the gymnasium! They are doing them all by themselves, and there was no fooling around!

This was a fourth grade class in the Kagato Elementary School. The students were very excited about having Americans tour their school. This picture was taken during the lunch period. Below, lunch is served by students in their respective classrooms.
